It is also the phrase dcdah.com uses for the whole sandbox: desert dunes, abandoned commercial zones, and a hydroelectric dam across four levels and 80-plus miles. Those two meanings collide in search results. This page is the beginner chapter. The brochure world is the maps and chapters sheet. Do not treat this guide as a replacement for Dunes or Hydrochapter.

Mally’s Studios shipped the game on April 19, 2022. Servers still hold 25 players. Cash comes from distance, destruction, and style. North Nevada exists so a new Jalopy 2106 can learn that loop without a landmine and without a Gunner in a tower. If Space still ejects you, read controls first. What the 2024 day actually is

Community notes call North Nevada the newest day and a map for beginners. There are no mines. Terrain is milder than Dunes Start. The ground is rock formations and canyons, closer to Rocky Mountain geology than to the Tonopah-adjacent desert of Day 1. A potash mine sits in the chapter as a landmark and a ramp farm, not as a separate game mode.

Full-gameplay uploads often open here before Dunes, Bunk Laps, and Hydrochapter. That order is a recording convenience, not a required unlock path. On a 2024-plus server, “meet at spawn” might mean this easier Nevada day. On an older clip, spawn still means the Dunes mining town. Ask which chapter is on the teleport list before you drive toward a river that only exists on Day 1.

Because there are no mines, the failure mode changes. You still lose wheels on canyon lips. You still ignite an engine on a stupid jump. You still eat another player’s weekly truck in a 25-person lobby. What you do not do is explode because the dirt looked helpful. That is the whole pedagogical trick. Learn camera, steering, and the “do not tap Space” rule here, then graduate to Dunes where the dirt lies.

How it differs from Dunes, Bunk Laps, and Hydrochapter

• Dunes (Day 1) is the oldest hill: eleven-odd sections, four sniper towers, mines, Ghosttown, Overgrowth, The Climb. Badges live there. Money does not.
• Bunk Laps (Day 1.5) is industrial Wasteland after the Dunes teleport. Gas-station backup farm. See the Bunk Laps walkthrough.
• Hydrochapter is the dam and the Depot cash farm. About 100k a teleport once you take the second-from-right path.
• North Nevada (2024 day) is the no-mine classroom. Rock, canyons, potash. Use it to stay in the seat.
• Forest Chapter is deleted. Ignore forest clips.

Official copy still sells North Nevada as the setting for all of that. Both statements can be true: the fiction is Nevada, and one selectable day is also named North Nevada. When this wiki says “North Nevada beginner day,” it means the 22 March 2024 map. When it quotes dcdah.com, it means the four-level brochure.

Roosevelt roads, bigger townships, and junctions from the Roosevelt Update sit in the wider world. Do not expect this beginner canyon to teach federal infrastructure. Do not expect a turbine car to spawn at the potash mine just because the update exists.

What to drive and what to skip

Spawn the Jalopy 2106 ($0). That is the point. A 300 MPH Contact on a no-mine canyon is a flex, not a lesson. The starter vehicles ladder still applies if you want a slightly heavier daily: Gaz-24 Volga at $10,000, Lada 2106 at $30,000. Skip the $100 Crudcrate. Skip most 125 MPH Saturday trucks until you can finish Dunes without ejecting. Rank speed later on the speed ranking and best cars pages. Prices live on the vehicle roster.

Gravity Coil is a bad idea here for the same reason it is a bad idea everywhere you want money: it disables cash. Upgrade Teleport is overkill until Hydrochapter is unlocked. Sniper (M40A5) does nothing useful on a map with no towers. Details on those passes sit under gamepasses.

A clean first run

1. Join a 25-player server and confirm the chapter teleport says North Nevada, not Dunes Start.
2. Take Jalopy. Camera on the canyon, not on chat.
3. Use ramps you can see. Style pays. Random cliff edges do not.
4. If two wheels come off, teleport. Crash survival is the same rule set as every other day.
5. When the canyon feels boring, that is the lesson landing. Move to Dunes. Do not farm this chapter for a Sand Bruiser FJ45; count that purchase on the cash planner after Depot exists.

Traffic is still terrain. A Spearhead towing a boat through a canyon will hit you. A Tanker after the 2025 explosion work can still ruin a lobby slice. No clanning, no targeting people with ground guns. Community arguments belong on community links, not in a beginner canyon.
